Bizarre vintage Egyptian QUEEN huge jewel ring

These beautiful nouveau or Egyptian queens hold this massive glass amber stone ( 1" x 3/4") and on top of that a serpent guards it as well! This is not a ring for the shy by far, but one for the woman who is a queen at heart! IT looks as if she is carrying a large chest with a jewel top and that is quite spectacular! The snake fiercely guards the rich deep amber glass faceted stone and I am sure no one will be able to steal this from him! This is a massive ring with rich brass filigree with lovely old patina that enriches this golden glass stone. I have to say this is quite the figural piece and it really is in such nice condition that you can tell it was well taken care of! This has been soldered not glued so you will be able to be confident that if it held up all these years, it has many many more to go!  It is a size 8 1/2" to a 10 since it adjusts like a cuff. Very comfortable to wear and a real conversation piece! Looks like came right from Cleo's stash of jewels!!!

Vintage STUNNING 100ct GARNET victorian drop Necklace

Loaded with genuine hand strung garnets this amazing necklace has over 100cts of genuine garnets that hold this beautiful antique garnet colored glass drop pendant. The pendant has a fancy arched grill on the front (it is hard to see but it is soldered on the top and bottom) with scroll work and it holds this HUGE faceted glass stone center with open back to let the color come thru. The necklace measures 24" long with an additional 2" drop for the  solid gilt brass frame. Even prettier than the photos this is a fabulous piece that would make anything you wear look like a million bucks! It is in great shape and has lovely golden patina too!

Vintage Deco 450 RS PAVE arch link Bookpiece bracelet
This FABULOUS period piece from the art deco  era (1920's) has over 450 of the tiniest rhinestones I have  ever seen. The photos make them look large and far apart but when you see this stunning piece in person it looks like thousands of tiny stones that glitter and sparkles with every move. ALL the stones are intact and there are no stones missing and no dead stones. Each link is slightly arched to really have it fit your wrist well. You can tell this is such a well made quality piece with all the pre-thought out details. The center design in rich green looks like it is far apart in the photos but really the stones look like they are part of a most intricate and tiny pave pattern ( in person).
This also has its original safety chain. When we got it, it was packed in a velet liner in a very old box ( which has since deteriorated) that  has a NY jewelers address and name. THe bracelet measures 7 1/2" when closed and even has rhinestones on the tiny hinges. It is pretty wide( 3/4") to make room for all those hand set stones. Can you IMAGINE the time it took to put THOSE IN?.. Wow. IT is bright and sparkling and a genuine deco piece. The only other one I have see that was this elaborate was in a jewelry book from the deco period. You won't be disappointed with this beauty because it is all that and MORE. Very little wear makes this a really great collectors piece or for that intimate occasion when you want to dazzle that special someone.

Antique French Enamel Bookpiece HUGE birds & fleur de lis  brooch

This is the largest sash buckle brooch I have ever had or sold and it is one amazing piece! Loaded with designs of birds and flowers and two huge fleur de lis centers this brooch measures a whopping 3 1/2" across. IT has lovely turquoise enamel that probably brings this in a transitional period between victorian and egyptian revival. It was originally a two part buckle and was in its early years converted to a C clasp brooch. I was told that when sash pins went out of fashions ladies had their beloved pieces made into pins so they would still be able to show them off. I have a photo where you can see that these are in the jewelry collector's book Official Guide to Antique jewelry by Kaplan) and they have quite a high price tag ( 650.00-$800) on them. This is such a huge magnificent piece with so many colors and designs that you really have to look hard to see enamel wear. It is one of a kind and won't last long so be sure you get this before it is too late.

DECO DRAGON Gothic PARURE Egyptian necklace

  Gothic Dragons and jeweled cabachon stones adorn this massive Egyptian revival full Parure! The winged dragons protect every piece too! The necklace has a flat snake chain that holds up the large tasseled pendant of gilt brass and silver. The pendant is solid and measures 3" long. The bracelet is really chunky and wide ( 1 1/2") and has its original safety chain . The clasp is hidden on the side. The earrings are really pretty and very deco with large drops that hang from ornate tops ( screw on). The bracelet is 7" long and made of thick gilt mesh. All the piece have aged to a nice dark brass color. It has not been polished so it retains that old mystical quality. A great book piece that is very exotic!!

Antique Edwardian Mesh jeweled enamel wide Bracelet

If metal could feel like silk then this antique bracelet would certainly qualify! It is so well made that the links flow like silk to form the arched shape needed to fit a lovely wrist! The center piece has a jade colored glass cabachon that is raised up with layers of buckle shaped metal work and teeny tiny seed pearls (2 missing). This is old and considering it is well over 100 years old, it has been well taken care of. Very light wear to the enameling on the face make this look as if it was antiqued ( like new pieces are made to look). This measures 6 3/4" long when closed and 1 1/4" at its widest. IT is a rich golden color and nicer than the photos.

Vintage CZECH PANSY reverse painted PINK coral   NECKLACE

Sometimes these pieces are referred to as goofus glass, but I think most people can relate to reverse painted. WHat is most unusual about this is  the fact it looks like butterfly wing in the background. Not sure but when you hold it to the light you can see that beautiful luminescence that the wings give off. The photos don't do this pendant justice because not only is is reverse painted and carved under glass, but the pansy looks like it is rising up from this eerie background and that just brings these violet colors stand out and make you say AHHHH!!. The coral color glass beads are made to look like tiny shells and they have the soft pink which graduates to a darker shade. This is not a small necklace by far and with the double swag strands it really is quite beautiful. The gilt brass spacers really add character to this pretty piece. The necklace is 20" long on the shortest strand and then there is the additional 2" pasted and gilt brass pendant. This has a filigree box clasp at the top. The back of the pendant has lost its gold color but that does not show when worn. The front has darkened as most antique brass does. I believe the paste rhinestones are all original too.  This is probably an edwardian / Nouveau piece since it has the swag front. Look great on and is one of the more unusual pieces from this period that I have sold.

Antique Bohemian Glass GORGEOUS baroque necklace earrings  Parure

RIch layered Glass and heavy solid gilt brass make this well made necklace show off well on our model. You can only imagine  how FABULOUS this will look on YOU! I added the earrings as a bonus because they are not original to it and are newer than the necklace. Don't they look like they belong together? The necklace has this huge open back glass faceted stone that shows like fire in the light and brings out the rich greens and yellows of the accent rhinestones. I think the  pearls bring this into the Edwardian period when baroque pieces were all the fad~! With the Austro hungarian influence this  necklace has a beautiful woven chain with a fancy clasp. It measures 17" long with an additional 2 1/2" for this stunning fringed drop. IT is in great shape with rich golden patina. The earrings are a bonus and they measure 4" long from top of ear wire to the bottom. Most of the stones are claw set in brass bales. These have tiny shells at the top to give them that victorian feel. They too have a rich dark patina color to them. The earrings are necklace are quite elegant when put together and they will look like you stepped out of the past with all the queens jewels in tow!

Vintage Ophelia Nymph Art DEco large  Sash pin

This beautiful sea nymph or mermaid raises up out of this large 3" sash pin and is quite the beauty!Quite possibly created after Shakespeare's Ophelia. THe famous painting which depicts Ophelia floating down the river into which she has cast herself, feeling rejected by Hamlet. Her hair fans out in the stream, a necklace of violets around her neck and a loose bouquet of many different flowers drifting away from her slightly raised hands. This dramatic brooch delivers an emotional feeling when you see this lovely young woman in the water. The back has a C Clasp and it is in great shape. I am not sure of the silver content. UNUSUAL Guardian Beetle Scarab Lightening stone Gothic big jeweled necklace

This amazing 5" long pendant is made with faux tortoise lucite
that is inset into a golden frame that hangs from one long drop. A large Scarab with irridescent greens and coppers guards this chilling electric blue eerie glass stone. WHen light hits this stone it looks as if it can carry the light on its own with lightening strikes thru it. The huge golden beetle has an irridescent green glass jewel on it its neck that brings out the rich earthy colors of the enamel. The chain is a thick double sided nugget gold filled linked chain that measures 16" long and is 1/2" wide. Photos don't do the colors on this justice because when any light hits it, it changes colors on the beetle as well as the stone it guards. In great shape, this has many modernist characteristics.
